Are you one of people who are suffered from lactose intolerant when having milk? According to the recent survey, about 70% of the world’s population has a difficulty in drinking milk because they cannot digest a molecule called ‘lactose’. The lactose is a disaccharide which consists of galactose and glucose molecules by beta 1-4 glycosidic link. The galactose and glucose are monosaccharide which can be more easily digested rather than lactose. Therefore, people now are able to have this treated milk without any problems although they have the lactose intolerant.
